WEIJA-GBAWE M.C.E. Visits Tetegu Junction to Address Pedestrian Safety Concerns
Earlier today, the Municipal Chief Executive of Weija-Gbawe, Hon. Felix Lamptey, accompanied by heads of various security departments, visited Tetegu Junction to address the growing concern over unlawful road crossings by individuals deliberately avoiding the designated pedestrian bridge.
Also present were Hon. Bright Adabra and members of the Unit Committee. The purpose of the visit was to raise public awareness and caution residents about the dangers associated with improper road crossing.

To enhance safety and maintain order at the location, a team of city guards will be deployed immediately. In addition, the Municipal Assembly will move swiftly to enact a bylaw prohibiting pedestrians from crossing the road without using the footbridge.
Okada riders have also been cautioned to avoid obstructing traffic and endangering the lives of other road users.

The safety and well-being of residents remain a top priority for the Municipal Assembly.
Thank you.
Signed:
Hon. Bright Kwame Adabra
